Family night

Friday night we had a family night with the Bleeckers, Rogers, and Hollemans that consisted of good food, noisy toys, Disney movies, and plenty of laughter. Far too often we go out together and leave the kids at home with sitters, so this was a nice change. It was so fun seeing the kids interact with one another. When we first walked in, Evan came over to Lily and gave her a big hug (without any prompting!) and then just held on! We had time to pull out our cameras and video camera before they dropped their embrace. It was too cute. Here are a few pictures of the night...

Doesn't Lily look so cute in a ponytail? It's not easy getting her to wear one. I usually end up bribing her with chocolate chips so she'll keep it in. Hey- whatever works. You'll notice she's pulled it out by the last picture. :)

Those are the cutest pics in the whole world. Blake and I were just talking tonight how sweet it is to watch your children interact with and truly love their friends. So sweet.

Thanks for posting these. I hadn't seen any pics from that night....and they're so cute.
Looking at these pics makes me think P is going to hate me when he's older for letting his hair look like a big poof ball. ;)
It was a fun night, let's do it again soon!

Lily is so cute, seriously, she should be a model. I can't believe how grown up she is. Loved the matching aprons in the last pic. Hope you are doing well and the morning sickness has stopped.

Lily is SO cute with a ponytail! She looks so old and grown up. It goes by so fast . . . co

OK, I'll admit, I skipped the text to look at the pictures first. And my first thought was WOW! Lily's ponytail is so cute....totally 80's! RADICAL! And then I read the rest of the post! Who knew a ponytail could be such a point of interest???
